That is so good it ought to be in your .sig

everybody knows how a car works, you sit in it, turn the key, engage a
gear and steer with the wheel

What could be simpler than that?

Only if you need to fix it when it doesn't work do you need a bit more.

To design it, you need a hell of a lot more.

Operator: technician: designer.
