As I said earlier, drill a hole sideways through the broken "T".

Guessing but maybe 1/8 or 3/16 inch diameter. Force a short pin through

the hole so a stub sticks out both sides far enough to hook your draw

string over.

The problem is, that piece is so small there is no way I can see of drilling a 3/16 diameter hole through it...
