I was stationed there in 1969....

Take a coat if you plan to drive to the top....

Snow on the top in July is normal at 14,114 feet.

The road trip back then was partly gravel above 10,000 ft.

When you pass the goats and the tree line, you are pretty high
up.

We regularly sent up Air/Mountain rescue choppers to drag some
dumb ass off the face of cliff.

Very rugged country.

On a clear day you can see Albuquerque, New Mexico.
