Western NY. Went to a couple service calls,
got home about 5 PM. When I left the house at
7:30 to go to scripture study, the roads were
hard pack snow, and traction was poor. One car
in the ditch, I saw.

Return home, the hard pack snow is worse, and
traction is worse. Nearly tail spun twice, and
I was going slow and gentle. Ought have stayed
home, safe.

One friend in SC was without power.

ICE STORM! No power, water or heat for 32 hours. Power
just came back on, We survived well with guests with
portable propane space heaters, generator for occasional
water (connected to well), bucket toilet, and propane
cookstove (20lb grill bottles). Had food, bottled
water, and came through with flying colors.
