That would be my guess too, as the "Energizer"-branded deep-cycle
batteries I bought at Sam's Club were made by Johnson Controls. I had
heard claims that they were and then emailed JC support to ask about the
appropriate float-charging voltage. They confirmed that they were the
manufacturer.
