There are these springs supporting the platter and arm and these springs
are "stuffed" with a foam material

** Remove the foam.

I was thinking of putting foam under the speaker

** Waste of effort.

The low frequency vibrations are transmitted through the air, shaking the
floor, walls and ceiling.
