It was a very fun boat. Even though it was very heavy, it could go 35
MPH in water, it had a nice Mercruiser 302 inboard/outboard etc.

35 mph? Thats pretty damned slow for a power boat.
It sort of depends on how much fuel you want to burn. The long
distance trawler yacht guys are burning about 1.5 gal./hour at 6.5 - 7
K. About 150 mile days.
