You need a good compressor anyway. Besides air nailers, there's big
inflatable toys & air beds (use the regulator), and tires. Some gas
stations want upwards of $0.75 just to turn the air compressor on!
My local Speedway station has one that takes quarters or credit cards,
and it cost $1 for 3 minutes.
If my math is right, you could save $20 an hour by having your own
machine. I never realized how fast
a compressor would pay for itself.
The retractable hose & reel is a big help too. I mounted it in a corner in
the garage and it stays out of the way until I need it.
