Default Old Tektronix 7603 Question

How do I use it without becoming a member ? I don't Yahoo.

What's the big deal? It's an online forum/Yahoo group. You can
either have all messages sent to your email inbox, or read the group
online. Subscribe, like you so to this newsgroup. Tell them why you
want to join, then set your preferences. Give an email address they can
contact you at. They wait till you are accepted. It took about 90
minutes for me to be approved. I have a 9603 to repair, but I haven't
started on it, and the last one I worked on was 30 years ago so I won't
try to give advice till I've been back in one.

Are there others?

None that I've seen that are worthwhile. They are either dead, or
every message is moderated, so you wait from most of a day to a week+
for your message to appear. As long as you behave on the group, your
messages go out right away. If you make an ass of yourself, you will be
dropped from the group by the list owners. They have a wealth of
service data, searchable archives and people who repair old Tek gear for
a living.
