It doesn't matter what type of drive they have and preferrably threaded
the whole way, I could live with 1/2" unthreaded shank. Any more than
that I guess would be acceptable, just a lot of thread
cutting for me to do....

If could accept 5/8" options open way up...either flush flat screws or
perhaps a flat plow bolt if can broach a square hole.

9/16" just isn't all that common--suppose they could be found if dug
deep enough, but sure not much choice off the shelf I'd think...
