No. Not really. Danny can paint the pipe. It helps to reduce UV
damage (long term). It would take years for severe damage (in the
desert).

Krylon plastic paint is a good choice. He does need to paint the PVC
he replaced. His old pipe is already painted.

HD has the Krylon plastic paint in spray cans.
