Loctite works very well on loose screws. I use it myself and
recommend it to anyone. There are different formulas depending on
whether or not you want the screw to be removable and free again.

Fine stuff, but back when we were dirtriding in the late 60s the
equivalent was 'yellow stuff'. I can't remember the use it was actually
designed for, but you put a glob over the nut you wished to secure and
let it harden. If the nut started to loosen you would see stretch marks
in the glob. Not a common occurrence, though.

We would have killed for Loctite.

But how do you apply it to the original poster? On his mouth, or his
fingers? I don't think trying to secure his screws would work, but proper
application to his fingers might lessen the discharge.
