I found a corner in the house that makes my eyes burn and swell up and nose plug up. * I'm thinking there must be some kind of detection kit or service that would sample the room air. *Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have cleaned the walls and floor and no better. *There is no smell of any kind and seems to be coming from the floor. *No new furniture, paint, fabric, etc, that might cause this.

I can't think of what kind of water leaks could have been in that area, but first guess is always mold or mildew. *Other sides of walls are all fine. *Crawl space is underneath but nearly impossible to get to for a chubby feller like myself.

What kind of heat? If hot air, all parts of the house should be
equally bad. If not hot air, are there any connections to the
outside, like a stove hood vent or holes in the wall where pipes or
electric outlets go thru?
