They've been suggesting that the rise in temperatures will cause
weather to be more extreme.
Certainly the melting of all that Arctic ice (which they could hardly
be mistaken about) is going to dump huge volumes of very cold, nearly
fresh water into the Atlantic.
Difficult to predict the result, but it could well cause weather
extremes.
