I fondly remember the first time I saw an In-N-Out Burger bumper
sticker. They had removed the "b" and "r" in burger.

Closest In-N-Out is 20-some miles away. I never saw the sign on the rare
occasions when I did drive by it, as it's right where I'd get on I-80
and I was generally preoccupied with twits trying to merge into the on
ramp lane at the last second. Wasn't until a friend told me about it
that I finally noticed where it was and quickly realized where those
bumper stickers were coming from. lol...

It looks like the nearest is about a thousand miles from me. When I
want a good burger, I have to fix it myself.

They're pretty good burgers. Hopefully now that the founders are out
of the picture they might consider expanding to other centers.

The Founders' granddaughter is running the show, and shows no sign of
selling out anytime soon. They are expanding at a reasonable rate and
starting to march east to Texas and Utah. Built a new Commissary for
the Texas restaurants, and anything new in the region.

Oh, and they finally leveled the original store & the two-lane store
on the same site, and moved to a modern building across the freeway.
But it looks like they're still using the original Commissary/Office
Building behind it (when they first started expanding) for something.
Hint: For all the new Commissary and Warehouse and Fleet operations
(and a cute little Sign Shop) it's on Hamburger Lane in Baldwin Park.

Can't find the "In-N-Out University" that is supposed to be at the
site of Harry & Esthers' original house "around the corner" but I
didn't scour Google Maps all *that* hard.

But I *did* find a Cheeseburger Animal Style last night...
