Quite. Strange how people fall into one camp or the other.

Look at it from the apprentices side. Young persons aren't "allowed" to
be NEET's (Not in Education, Employment or Training), not if they want to
keep any benefits so they have to take apprenticeships or other
work/education. Getting thrown off such things as being a waste of space
doesn't affect their benefits so given the choice of being able to sit at
home in front of the telly/xbox fed by mummy or out in the cold actaully
having to *do* something and fend for oneself which do you think they
choose...
