It would appear that the unit realizes that a disk is present, but cannot complete the intiial loading of info from the disk. This can hapen if the lens has a film on it from smoke or grease or any other particulate matter. A word of caution: Please be careful when cleaning the lens and use as little pressure on the lens itself as possible. Very fine wires suspend the lens and are easily broken.
