Yes but half the fun was going in and playing with the stock!

Actually their batteries were pretty good for not leaking. They had some
sort of seal around the two places where other batteries leaked, ie the
corner at the bottom and the top centre.



Their free torches were rubbish though.

But that was back in the day when if you left batteries in any unused
equipment for more than a few weeks they leaked and wrecked the equipment.

IIRC they also did a 50p diary that included vouchers for 12
batteries, one every month.
