Not sure... ;~) Here is what Saw Stop indicated,

the cartridge might stay powered for about 1-2 seconds at most
while its internal voltage falls off

Sounds like they have a couple of filter caps that will carry the
mechanism for a (very) short time. Typical marketeering.
