Generally, yes. While on the surface it may seem like extra effort, the
reality is that by going to the three specific places you will 1. find
everything you need, 2. find higher quality products 3. get better
customer service.

And quite often..better prices.

Fergusens is a large plumbing supply company, at least here in
California.

I can buy black or galvanized pipe and fittings at any Fergies for
1/2-2/3 the cost of HD or Lowes.

1. Lie
