If they catch you up, then their speed is higher than yours, that's simple
physics. What gives you the right to decide that your speed is correct, but

That may not be possible, depending on the road conditions -
narrow/windy road, oncoming traffic. It may not be possible for the
person in front even to stop or pull over to let you pass. Now, should
they speed up to what the consider to be a dangerous extent just to keep
*you* happy? **** that.


In most situations you can either slow to allow them to pass easily, or you can pull over into a layby for 10 seconds.

Driving in a threatening or intimidatory way is a criminal offence, by
the way.
