If you're not averse to replacing it, newer ones are more energy-efficient and have nicer features- better-designed shelving, more drawers, etc.
Worth getting a new one.
And more sensitive electronics to blow up the next time round ----?
It has already lasted 22 years. That's longer than the expected
lifespan of most current appliances. REplace what went bad and you
can quite likely get another 22.
