I saw a 'news' item on the TV the other night where they were flying round
an offshore wind-farm in a helicopter. The reporter was trumpeting the
'advantages' of this bloody eyesore that went to the horizon, telling how at
full capacity, wind-farms such as this one could supply as many as 255,000
homes !!!!

I guess that's one medium sized city each, then. Until the middle of winter
when they are becalmed by a nice big blocking high that is typical of UK
winter weather patterns ...

The Observer article is typical ecobollox scaremongering. The contents of
this 'report' (more like a very well paid 'eurojob for the boys' at the
taxpayer's expense) have not even been released to say what exactly these
'defects' are, and in any case, the article reports that the leaked content
does not say that any single nuke should be shut down as a result of any of
the defects.

Crap journalism based on hearsay from undisclosed sources, doesn't deserve
the paper space that it's printed on ...
