You could almost see the producers rubbing their hands with glee at this completely novel construction method - and their disappointment as time went on, and they realized the build was having rather *fewer* problems than a normal build.

They had to manufacture a bit of "bossy designer" tension to have any sense of conflict in the project at all. (And the designer was right - pictures on that curved wall would have looked awful.)
