I use a string tied to the pan with a knot in each end as close as I
can get it then I smear it with peanut butter. I have caught mice in
the first trap before I got the second one set.

I use the Victor traps with the metal bait holder, these are the best
if you can still get them. I put a chunk of peanut from chunky peanut
