Why would it be uninspected? Our appliances were inspected by UL without
the government's help.

And the government is not very effective at ensuring the absence of
salmonella in poultry. Appliances are safer than chicken.

Why do you think China makes toxic toothpase and Oreo cookies? They have
government regulations, but no civil court or free press.
