Slide in gas range with custom granite counter tops

Yeah, I thought of that. *I'll ask about that.
The other thing is that this type of stove works better when there is no counter over hang. *With the overhang the stove sticks out into the room a little bit. *That's why I am staring to think about a freestanding stove.
I did a bunch of searches comparing freestanding vs slide in and people seemed to complain about the controls being in the back on freestanding.
I hate to design the countertops around our stove. *This would mean that if we replace the stove in the future, or next homeowner has to replace the stove they will be forced into getting another slide in and it might be hard to match exactly if we custom design the granite around this particular stove.
Get the granite guys to give you a piece of granite with
the edge on it. Take it to an appliance store that has the
stove. Try it out and see.
