Apparently, he and the others were chatting about the new Espresso
machine in the crew rest area, a mild diversionary conversation, when
they were interrupted by a "Good to go" message from Launch Control.
Right up to that point, they had been so used to postponements and
delays they didn't really expect to go that time either.
