Default Laptop/Tablet?

SWMBO wants to downsize her PC to either a Laptop or a Tablet.

Now obviously both have their upside & downsides, so what we are looking
for is a review or comparison site that compares the two different systems.

We can find plenty of sites that compare each with themselves, but not
one that compares Tablet v Laptop.

Anyone know of such a site?

Not a direct answer to your question, but if SWMBO doesn't mind
'learning' a new operating system then your tablet options are quite open.

However, I tried an Android tablet and found the the workarounds I
needed to be able to replicate what I was doing on my laptop and desktop
just took up too much time and were too much effort. Simply transferring
images from the tablet to the desktop was a faff. So I bought an Acer
Iconia Tab W500 running Windows 7.

Windows 7 is far from being the best OS for a tablet but there's no need
to learn a new OS, Windows 8 (hopefully an improvement!) is due soon,
the tablet does pretty much all that I can do on the laptop and desktop,
and the whole experience has been better than that of the Android.
