Thanks - I think you're right and it's in non-volatile memory. The
instructions are very poor.
On the downside, when we had a power failure (actually the supplier
changing the main-fuse and holder) and the alarm battery had failed; the
alarm somehow got fried and never worked again.
I wouldn't be surprised if we get the same. We never use it anyway.
I now see the installer is still in business so I'll ask them for a
service call quote - may as well give the house it's added value back.
