go to alt.binaries.photos.original
99% of all the posters post in jpeg.
one in 500 may post a yenc.
These are mostly professional photographers and amateurs who enjoy
sharing their pictures with everyone else.
That is the simple matter.
If you can fill me in on how I can see Yenc, I would be more than
happy. I have Newsguy for a newsreader, and use a Windows 7
What steps would I need to see Yenc.
I admit, I am not the most knowledgeable about computer in many
aspects and do stumble.

This is the ONLY group that still has complaints about yEnc.
All of Usenet should go back a decade and post in a dead
format because the "regulars' here are just too damn lazy
or defiant to go with the 99.9%.
Woodworkers post their projects here for all to see. If someone wants
to show off their work, it's only common sense to post it in a format
that the most people can see.
What is there about that concept that you don't understand?
The MOST people can see? What, a handful of grabby REGULARS?
That's funny...
Simple google search found this site:
http://www.yenc.org/tools.htm
It says:
Newsguy's web based reader support yEnc (20.02.2002)
I've been notiffied officially that NewsGuy is now offering yEnc support
on its web-based newsreader.
Now also yEncoded messages are detected there and can be downloaded as
easy as if they have been UUencoded on Usenet.
This is a simple link to their homepage - yEnc is not a sponsered
product:
