For years it was either NO freon or half a pound. *Then comes along 2
pounder. *Next year nothing, etc. for a couple of years...then I talked to
the orginal guy and he told me the charge was bullsit.

Now I see. It's either they hose you for 1/2 a pound or
they hose you for 2 pounds. I don't have that problem
because for 25 years I haven't had the routine yearly
service. I just remove the leaves, change the filters
and make sure it starts up.
