Default Who is it? (and who is mistaken?)

Like I say, sometimes subtle distinctions don't quite register in my mind.
Aparently, Godwins refers to the MENTION of Nazis, not the calling someone a
N-word. I aparently got that wrong.

That said, I'm starting to figure out that you didn't refer to name calling,
and I was mistaken. Anyhow, sorry for calling you a N-word, that was clearly
a mistake on my part.

Lets see if I have this right. You called Godwin, even though I had
not called you a Nazi. And now you are offended? If you're going to
tell me that I invoked the Spirit of Hitler, it's very possible that
I will go back and do just exactly that.

If I walk into McDonalds, and ask for the number one special, I
shouldn't be offended if someone puts a quarter pounder in front of
me.

Pay attention, ignoramus: "Calling Godwin" is meant to put an end to a
thread, not asserting that anyone is a nazi. From Wikipedia:

"... there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion
forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and
whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever debate was in
progress."

There is NO intimation that the object of "Godwin's Law" is anything other
than an attempt to bring German National Socialism into a discussion.

Now that your ignorance has been fixed, in the interest of comity, I'll give
you one more opportunity to adjust your misplaced characterization.
