rebuilds were as expensive as new. Even the rebuild *kits* were was
expensive as new.

Unless I was looking in the wrong place, I couldn't justify
rebuilding, which is a shame.

you definitely looked in the wrong places Ed. Generally around $35 for a
good rebuild.
