I think I uttered the word "********" when she said that. Look at the
last few days, 3GW or so installed wind in the UK, producing a few
hundred MW. The same has applied over most of Europe recently as
well. Nice large high pressure, an what little wind there is bringing
cold arctic over vast areas. This is not a particularly rare weather

Nope. But surely glubble worming means we will get tropical downpours
and hurricanes instead?
