Nah.. I think he saw the job as tapping a hole in
a thin walled aluminum
housing and the OP didn't want to spend money on a
tap. Since only
a few threads are involved it would not take much
of a tap to do it
so in frustration he made that statement. I gotta
say, I've done that
myself years ago when it had to be done right now
with what was on
hand. It is cheap quick and dirty but it works,
fit form function ya know..
IOW, put down your mug and just ****ing do it
already, eih? ;)}
