No, this difference is consistent across all brands. The $.40 is purely a
difference of 75mi.

Well, there is that, but 10 cents difference for different sides of a
railroad crossing? Exxon (not Texaco as I said before) versus Gulf in
07410

Sure, but it's still $.40 different 75mi away (and across state
lines). Two
weeks ago the difference was $.10, about the same as the difference in
gas
tax.

And have you seen this yet Keith? The dam stations are increasingly
starting to say 3.29 on the sign, you drive in and the pump says 3.49.

They guy behind the counter says that the sign price is the gift card
price. Looking back at the sign I see gift card price in little
letters. THAT ****es me off.

Yessir. Two Chevrons I dealt with the last few years, one at FM529 and
Eldridge and the other at FM529 and Fairview have begun that BS.
And I've quit dealing with them.

The first I noticed a couple of years ago was a Texaco at Dairy Ashford
and Eldridge. They are both Texaco and Chevron are affiliated.
And that was a Chevron station I was talking about. Glad to hear they
are the only ones....so far.
