Are YOU serious? First of all, he said the windows are high. You also
have no idea if he has any sort of disability. Maybe he does not want
to keep a ladder in the room to open and close them.

Right on. Thanks for saving me the need to reply. Also cords going to
the floor are hanging dangers for young children. Next Day Blinds,
among others, put their cord in a restrained high loop.
