Or for a mid-winter trek across Antartica, in a 40mph wind?

Especially for long-thin-armed people where blood flow to the
hands is fairly slow. Especially the older you get.

Not only where to buy, but WHAT to buy?

(For me, after 10 minutes in 15degreeF outdoors, it only FEELS
like I'm on an Antartica winter trek!)

Thanks!

David

Many years ago I saw a presentation on Antarctic type apparel from the
Army clothing research lab. When you got into those extremely cold
temperatures the only thing that would work on the hands or feet were
battery operated warmers. Circulation to extremities is poor and
surface area is large and no amount of insulation can keep warm.

This was a long time ago and maybe the chemical hand-warmers would be
effective too.
