OK, cool. Since it's been off, I've not noticed any more leakage.

I'll monitor it and see what happens.

Thanks and best regards,

I, too, have a towel bar that is leaking--very small amounts of oil. This happens when the unit is turned on. The unit is useless to me if it continues to leak. The first thing to do is to locate the origin of the leak. In mine the leak stems from the heating element. So, I took it apart and discovered that it is leaking out of the hole where one of the heating electrodes is fitted. The electrodes are fitted with apoxy. so I have cleaned the old apoxy out. Next step is to find heat resistant replacement apoxy. Then fill the warmer with mineral oil--I haven't found how much to use and then reassemble the warmer.
