200ft+ away. Only thing I can find smaller than a full 100A panel is a
"Main Lug" type, which has no way to cut power without running all the
way back to the house.

It cuts everything fed from it, just as does the main in the full panel;
it's just on the bus instead of above it. How doesn't it solve the problem?
