Default Lets have green public transport

In article ,
says...

The brand new trams they have in Geneva drive one way only and only
have doors on one side.

Same as the Belgian coastal tramway.

So at each end they have to go round a large
space-consuming loop.

At Knokke it seems to run round the outside of the tram shed IIRC.

Being metre gauge, the turning loop isn't that big and outside the
towns, intermediate turning loops for short workings tend to be on open
ground behind the dunes which doesn't otherwise seem to be used for
anything else.

In towns, the loop simply runs round the block on side roads, so no
extra space required.
