I think you will find cat scans are not the same as mri.
Cat scans are good for bones and dyes, mri is good for soft tissue and not
so good for bones (no water) and doesn't know what a dye is.

Just refers to how the data obtained is processed.
It can be Xray or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
