Default Chimney experts: advice sought please- gas flue for wood burningstove?

An update..

I phoned a HETAS fireplace company and described our flue.

From what I gather it won't be suitable for solid/wood burning as it
is a designed for a gas appliance only.

It does not have a stainless lining from what I can see.

So unless we hear otherwise it looks like we'll be buying another
electric 'fire'.

Thanks all for the replies!

Sounds like what would be expected. You CAN - if it's an outside wall,
or you don't mind an internal exposed flue pipe, use a double walled
installation either through the wall and up or just straight up.
