Nah, that couldn't be it.


I think most of this is plain old supply and demand. The heavy
subsidy of the out-of-pocket expenses by others increases the demand.
You can't go out and build a doc in a day or two and other barriers to
admission serve to keep a lid on supply. Viola (or maybe violin) you
have inflation.
