Do you put an ad on Craigslist or just the object out there with a
"free" sign?

In my area, the ads for free stuff "at the curb" are
titled, in part, "Curb Alert" in the Craigslist - Free section

Just put it on the curb with the FREE sign. It was gone before I could open
a web page to list it anyway.
