An Air Force staff sergeant based in Germany says he's been AWOL
since last week because he read on the Internet that President
Barack Obama's long form birth certificate is a fraud.

I firmly believe the earth is flat.

I firmly agree with Harold. If it were round, you could put a tennis
ball
on the ground, and it would roll to the edge and fall off. If doesn't
get
any simpler than that.

I rest my case.

If a Kenyan citizen can be president of the United States of America,
then
the world surely IS flat!

Steve

But neither of them happened, so all is well.

That's the way I see it.
How can people go on and on over a non-issue such as this?
My God, do these guys grasp how foolish we look to the balance of the
world?
No damned wonder Americans are held in contempt by other nations.

So Harold. Did the law get broken...or not? Your opinion of whats
important or not..really isnt of much concern.

As for the rest of the world..two ways to look at it.

1. The US may violate its own Constitutional requirements with no
penalty..meaning the Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper.

2. The US is foolish enough to let a serious law be broken...hence it
may allow any and all laws be broken for the sake of ' Tidyness"

Your choice.

Now..Ive got this really nice bit of property Ill sell you with my very
own contract. Cheap too!

Though..I will change the terms at will, for my own benefit, at any
moment. After all...its just a piece of paper.

The problem, as I see it, is that there are accusations of laws being
broken-----but are they? Making a claim doesn't mean it's true. Is it?
Or is it something you hope to be true, but isn't?
Anyone with a hint of logic knows that Obama can't win a contest of proving
his birth. There's always going to be someone that denies any evidence
provided, as has proven to be the case. Some people simply can't (or
won't) accept evidence, finding fault that bolsters their position, right or
wrong. I may have commented previously, I have a neighbor like that.
He'll have nothing to do with anything that doesn't support that which he
chooses to believe, rejecting any evidence that doesn't support his
thoughts. That hardly makes him right.

This entire matter reminds me of one of the episodes on 60 Minutes, years
ago, where they did a story on theft at hotels. They had gone so far as
to film (hidden camera) a maid stealing. It clearly showed her taking
objects, yet, when confronted, her comment was "you got me wrong". Deny
the evidence, no matter how foolish it may appear to do so-----which gives
encouragement to those that hope it's not true.

This whole thing is really foolish. Don't you think that if there was any
credible evidence that Obama wasn't a legal citizen, or that he was a
Muslim, it would have been played to the hilt by the republican party? I
can't imagine them not seizing the opportunity---yet it hasn't happened.
Why is that?

Notice that it's just radical splinter groups that don't let it die?

Why would that be?

In my mind---it's because it isn't true. Nothing else makes sense.
