An elderly friend has a couple of 40 ft containers near Parump Nv that
he needs to dispose of - any clue how to value them or who may want to
buy them?

Are they standard Conex/seatrains or old trailer bodies?

Posting them on Craigslist is about the best way..or inquire with some
of the seatrain dealers in Nevada and California

Round here, they are selling for $3k, and that's delivered. And that's
for
a seagoing container. Shipping and delivery are going to be the bugger.
Check with the local seller of these things, as I heard recently their
supply dried up.

Supply dried up? There is an estimated 5 MILLION cargo containers
sitting across America. Ports are choked with them.

I know a guy who has a yard that sells these. That's what he told me. Said
they were in short supply for a while, but seem to be back now. Just what I
heard from someone in the business. FWIW.

Around here, the 40's were 2300-2500. Now they're in the 3000 range. Go
figger.
