The guy is making low-fat popcorn.
You can't get popcorn popped without oil made in the USA

Haven't you ever heard of a hot air corn popper?

Which is what I use here at the homestead.

Then smother it with melted butter!

YUMMMM!!!

My Mom & Dad's hot air popper had a little butter-melting dish
on the top.

There was this gal I was dating once who when we went to the movies,
we'd buy separate popcorns because she didn't like as much butter and
salt as I did. (still do, in fact.) I used to say, "the popcorn is
mainly a vehicle for the butter and salt." ;-)

We'd stop at Der Veinerschnitzel on the way to the theater and
get a couple of dogs for about a buck apiece which we'd smuggle
into the theater. The movie hot dogs were about five bucks, (maybe
only about three at the time - late 1980's) and not very good.

Cheers!
