SDS is *not* the same as SDS+ [1] - but most SDS drills sold are, in
fact, SDS+. If the one in question *isn't* SDS+, SDS+ bits won't fit

which, *among other things, says: "SDS is available in four sizes, SDS,
SDSplus (or SDS-plus or SDS+), SDS-Top and SDS-max."


That's how it was originally designed, but not how its implemented in
practice. In real world tools calling themselves SDS, they're always
SDS+, the 2 have become interchangeable.
